Family Adventure

In few places in the world does nature present itself as majestically as in Kenya. With Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, the Great Rift Valley runs through the country from north to south, shaping wooded hills and a wonderful wooded savannah. Epic landscapes dotted with immense herds of zebras and wildebeests, wild predators, and endangered animals. The diversity of traditional tribes such as the Maasai, Swahili, or Turkana adds color and soul to the land.

The Family Adventure Private Safari offers a comprehensive and relaxed program to discover Kenya on an exciting journey with your loved ones. It's an ideal itinerary for couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy more relaxed times without missing the opportunity to admire different landscapes and live unique experiences in some of the country's best parks, from Amboseli to Lake Naivasha, ending with the unmissable Masai Mara.

Day 2

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Amboseli National Park. We will pass through the typical African savannah dotted with local farms and colorful Masai herders with their cattle. We will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, we will set off again for our first photographic safari in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants. The Amboseli National Park ecosystem covers more than 3,000 km2 in southern Kenya. There is no other place in Africa where you can find the curious combination of Amboseli's topography, geological history, hydrology, and culture. Despite its moderate rainfall, it has a system of marshes and groundwater fed by Mount Kilimanjaro, which sustains the life of a spectacular variety of birds and mammals. Amboseli is one of Kenya's most popular destinations and is home to the country's largest population of elephants, as well as buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and hippos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

In the afternoon, we will head to the shores of the lake, where we will take a boat for about a 1-hour ride. During this time, we will be able to observe the characteristic diversity of birds in this area and also admire the lake's main inhabitants, the hippos. Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes. It is surrounded by papyrus trees and acacias, a unique geological landscape, and visited by a wide variety of more than 450 species of birds. A source of natural life where zebras, hippos, and buffaloes stop to drink, among many others. It is possible to combine the boat ride with a walk on Crescent Island (not included, direct payment in cash), where it is possible to take a hike and observe zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet, with over a million animals continuously moving in search of water and fresh pastures. In the reserve, you can also see the 'Big Five': lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo, accompanied by other species such as giraffes, gazelles, among others.
