Information about
Private Express Safari

In few places in the world does nature present itself as majestically as in Kenya. With Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, the Great Rift Valley cuts through the country from north to south, outlining wooded hills and a wonderful tree-dotted savannah. The Masai Mara Reserve is the stage for the Great Migration, and its savannah is dotted with immense herds of zebras and wildebeests, wild predators, and endangered animals. The diversity of traditional tribes such as the Maasai, Swahili, or Turkana adds color and soul to the land of this fascinating African country.

The Private Express Safari is an ideal itinerary for those who want to make the most of a few safari days before heading to the beaches of Zanzibar, the Maldives, or another exotic destination.

Nairobi is the fourth-largest city in Africa and is also the most cosmopolitan in East Africa. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safaris through Kenya. It is a vibrant and exciting place where you can find varied activities and a wild nightlife. The National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum, and the elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust are very popular places that are well worth a visit. Day 2

Nairobi - Naivasha

After breakfast, departure westward, with two options (to be informed at the time of booking): Option 1) NAKURU National Park: Upon arrival in Nakuru and after lunch at a park lodge, a photo safari in Nakuru National Park, known mainly for its rhinoceroses and different bird species. Nakuru is a city on the shores of the lake that bears its name. Located within a reserve that stretches across almost 200 square kilometers, it is the capital of Nakuru County, located in the Great Rift Valley. Ten kilometers from the city lies the enormous Menengai crater. A hiking trail leads to the edge of this ancient caldera, offering views over the lake and its surroundings. Lake Nakuru National Park, which surrounds Nakuru, is home to different bird species, as well as more than 50 varieties of mammals. These include lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhinoceros, antelope, and various primates. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Option 2) NAIVASHA LAKE: Arrival at the lodge and time to rest before lunch. In the afternoon, we will take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari on Crescent Island, where it is possible to spot gazelles, giraffes, and zebras. Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes. It is surrounded by papyrus trees and acacias, a unique geological landscape visited by a wide variety of more than 450 bird species. A natural life source where zebras, hippos, and buffaloes among many others come to drink. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Naivasha - Masai Mara

Breakfast at the lodge. Next, we will head towards the Masai Mara National Reserve, crossing the Rift Valley (the journey will last about 5.5 hours approx.), with arrival at Keekorok Lodge for lunch. At sunset, we will enjoy a photo safari in the reserve. The Masai Mara, along with Tanzania's Serengeti, forms Africa's most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Its greatest attraction is undoubtedly the annual wildebeest migration that crosses the vast plains of the Serengeti and Masai Mara. It is known as the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet, with more than a million animals constantly on the move in search of water and fresh pastures. In the reserve, you can also observe the 'Big Five': lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo, accompanied by other species such as giraffes, gazelles... among others. Dinner and accommodation at the camp.
