In the afternoon, we’ll visit Hue, the former capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visit the Imperial Citadel, the former imperial seat of government. This is a vast and extensive complex of temples, pavilions, moats, walls, gates, shops, museums, and galleries, offering art and costumes from different periods of Vietnam’s history. Next, we visit Thien Mu Pagoda (Celestial Lady Pagoda), one of the most revered sites in Hue.
