From Kihihi, we will reach the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi with a transfer of approximately 2 hours, which will allow us to admire beautiful mountain landscapes and local villages. The area, one of the few large expanses of forest in East Africa, is home to more than 120 mammals, 345 species of birds, 200 species of butterflies, and 160 species of trees. The park contains nearly half of the world's population of endangered mountain gorillas, making Bwindi a place of great conservation value. The Kyambura Gorge, known as the Valley of the Monkeys, is located on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park in southwestern Uganda. In recent years, a small group of chimpanzees has been habituated to tolerate the presence of humans, but sighting is not guaranteed. With a bit of luck, in addition to the chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and other species may also be observed.
